I'm falling apart.

This afternoon killed me. I had to go to Johnson to mentor a clarinet player, and Mrs. Singletary talked to me about Christie's solo in a "polite yet PO'd" tone. She basically said I chose too hard of a solo and how could I not have noticed all of the wrong notes she'd been playing?

Just try to remember to stay positive like I told you because stressing yourself out over it is just going to make the problem worse :/

you're so hard on yourself. you remind me of ...well, me, with all your stress and such. and trust me, i am not how you want to end up. let loose. you're 17, you're not supposed to be perfect. i'll loan you an amazing theory book if you'd like.

if everyone knew how to do everything, what kind of place would the world be? we have the ability to learn for a reason.

Katie Beckmann, you can make it in music if you want. i know you can..you're amazing. i know this sounds cliche but its true. but i know how you feel about everyone knowing so much more than you..i feel the same way in chorus sometimes. Its like people pick up on things that i havent heard or i cant figure out the answer to a question.
