November the ax missed me

December the ax missed me

I avoided getting cut on the 4th of January

However January 21st I got hit

Yes kids I got laid off from Williams-Sonoma this week. WS just reduced their staff by 20% , Tuesday was a complete bloodbath at my office. Our department went form sixteen people to eight. (Including 2 supervisors) ( Read more... )

Ugh. This seems to be going around. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for an opportunity, but my own work has slowed to a trickle, so I'm not in the office much these days.

We'd hate to lose you in SF, but I'm sending you all the good karma I can spare for the best possible outcome for you.
