awwww!! *pets Spock Prime* poor Prime - I insist to believe that his Jim is still in Nexus and they *will* be together again one day... really enjoyed this one; thank you so much for not slashing these two -- grandpa/grandson is a squick to me (yeah, I'm old -- heh heh heh); and besides, I think the advice he will get here will serve him well down the road a ways... and also thus, Spock Prime will not feel guilty when he sees *his* Jim again, and young!Spock will not be left alone in the dust.

Two moments tugged at my heart and made my eyes water:

"It’s something he regrets not saying more often, although he knows that Jim knew; knew exactly what Spock felt every time he looked at him. He misses the answering tug on his bond, Jim’s pleasure that Spock’s thinking about him."

"Spock takes it and puts it around his neck. The weight of the pendant against his chest and the pressure of the string on the back of his neck are both welcome."
