I've got good news, the guy at the computer lab is building a computer and he is going to put my drives in it. God knows when he'll be done though. Atleast I'll still have my files. Now if I lose them, well, lets just say i won't be posting here anymore.
i got three of the books i need for school for free so that's less books i have to buy

Well don't do that. How will I ever find out if you get published?

I know you don't have anyway of knowing for sure right now, but do you have a ballpark idea of how much space your books use?

Having survived two computer crashes myself (lost files in one, the other I managed to salvage), I'm sending good vibes your way! Hard drives are somewhat resilient in my experience. Just recently my laptop crashed but luckily we were able to pull the needed files off of it. Keep hope! ::heart::
