Part of why I moved to NYC is that I did not want to date people who knew me at my larger size. Both, because there would always be that question, and because I needed a change.
When I was smaller (I got down to 205, I am now back up to 250ish), I made a promise not to date people who didnt like fat people. Yes, my body was still fat, but I was on a date with someone who commented on other people being too fat, and it turned me off.
I wonder how my friends would feel in this situation: there is a person who would not date you at a heavy size. After you lose weight, they become interested.Happens to me every time I lose weight. I get below a certain point and it's like I suddenly show up on the radar for a whole segment of the population to whom I was invisible before. I know there's another point or two somewhere even lower on the scale, but I haven't seen it/them in a very long, long time. Sometimes it distresses me, but I recognize it better now, so it's not *quite* as disconcerting when it happens

I've heard that Estancia Churrascaria is even better, and has a Sunday Special. Maybe we'll go around Xmas time/first of the year. I'll keep ya posted if you like :)

What if it was someone who you just met? They would not have dated you at your bigger size, but are attracted at the smaller one. The odd thing is that you might not know how they would have felt had they met you earlier. What do you think you would do?If you meet someone and they didn't know you when you were heavier, and they seem nice and interested, go for it

I don't want to use her name on the internet. She has no LJ handle (as far as I know), she is short, wore glasses and a blue/green dress at the party, slightly pudgy, has a dazzling smile, and is slightly shy. That party is probably the first time you ever saw her.
