In response to the unjust arrest of two men (one of which is friends with my buddy Star) in Boston for posting images around the city I have created the new icon. Anyone who would like to tell the government to quit being uptight pricks, and respect free expression, feel free to take it.

No shit. They look like Lite Brites hooked up to a couple D-cell batteries. What cop took a look at that thing and decided the best course of action was closing down bridges, calling in helicopters, and bringing in a bomb squad?

Have you watched the press conference from this yet? The two guys who posted the ads just couldn't stop laughing, and the government folks were getting terribly upset about how serious it should be.

This is just further proof that Boston sucks hairy donkey balls.

Yeah... i'm glad they were laughing, it's good to see that they're not afraid to point out the idiocy of this all, even if it has negative repercussions on their legal case.

I don't see how it could, but at this point I wouldn't be suprised if the govt. people found a way to say that their laughter was part of the detonation plan...

As a police officer, and a Quasi-conservative, I think this is funny. Funny because the police and federal gov't have no clue as to what those "cartoon characters" are. It goes to show, just how paranoid and out of touch we have become ( ... )

I disagree... our entire political system is based on the fact that the people have the power to voice their opinion. If we fail to voice our opinion when we see an injustice, we surrender our power. I refuse to accept that a thin piece of plastic, no more than a few centimeters thick could have been mistaken for a bomb... I simply cannot believe that. The justice system allows for people like Donald Trump to sue because they are called a millionaire instead of a billionaire, and win (millions of dollars i might add). I'm not going to trust my fate to that system alone.

I'd also like to point out that letting the system "do it's thing" is how Bush cheated his way into a second term.

This is ridiculous. And the thing is...not only were these Lite Brites up for several days before anyone even freaked out but this was done in I believe at least 3 other major cities in the US...and did you see them freaking out and blowing up the devices and arresting people? No...the police looked into it, took them down without a fuss and didn't waste the court and the cities time by trying to turn it into this big huge deal that it isnt.
Seriously.
