As far as candy choices go, Skittles are a pretty safe bet on average, right? Fruity, chewy, colorful, with that advertising that, if not exactly funny, is at least weird enough to liven up a two minute commercial break. Oh, we have those! Only they are called SourSkittles and don't fizzle. So uh. Maybe we don't have those.

Yeah, these look and sort of taste like Sour Skittles... mrinconspicuous April 7 2010, 03:07:23 UTC
But more like if Sour Skittles worked up a bunch of excess frothy saliva in your mouth when you ate them.

Don't eat the fizzy powder plain anonymous April 8 2010, 04:11:46 UTC
Whatever you do don't put the leftover powder stuff from the bottom of the package in your mouth, it turns to a big wad of foamy gunk that burns your throat if you try to swallow it.

You're saying I shouldn't pour the concentrated remainder of the most disgusting component of this candy directly from the wrapper into my mouth and expect that everything will be fine?

I miss those fingers.

Also, those things look icky just by themselves. They used to make Lunchables with fizzy powder. Ham should not fizz.

I was really hoping those fizzing Lunchables were something you made up. I could have lived a long happy life without knowing those ever existed.

Oh, god. Don't show me anymore sites featuring fizzing candy powder on cold cuts. I already made a plenty-disturbing web search of my own.

Here's a sentence I never expected to type: "These Lunchables have broken my spirit."

For some reason this stern warning only makes me more curious to try the damn things. Natural selection in action?

Ha! Entertaining review. I reviewed this candy as well and the baking soda taste is disgusting. I likened it to that school project when kids mix vinegar and baking soda to make erupting volcanos.
