The dhole didn’t fit in the title

I have a new story out today at Daily Science Fiction: Vervain, Grasshopper, Sun. Like all of DSF’s offerings, it’s quite short, so it won’t take you long to go, read, and enjoy!

I enjoyed that! Especially the parts about ways in which casters have problems--pronunciation, what would be a good childhood memory (I laughed about the problem with differentiating childhood). I didn't know dhole--I imagined a small animal with large eyes and delicate hands like a kinkajou. Google set me straight ;-)

Do you have any plans to start using Dreamwidth? I'm moving there because of the new LJ TOS, and I'd love to keep reading your posts if possible.

Do you not read blogs aside from lj/dw? (Genuine question, not implication that you should.) Every blog post is also on my marissalingen.com site, and I have been thinking about just going with that without crossposting.

I do, and I read them through feeds on DW, but IIRC you also make occasional personal posts here, and of course there are also comment conversations.

I used to make personal posts that were filtered here, but that's really a thing of the past these days. Now I'm doing open blog posts or private emails/forum conversations, but not locked posts.

But comment conversations; we'll see if those actually do migrate to DW, but I think they will be worth the crosspost plug-in.
