Ottawa really does have the best museums ever. One time at the science and technology one, they had a temporary exhibit on The Beatles' sound engineering and I wanted to spend my whole vacation there...

We hit up that one this time, but I wasn't too impressed. There was a small thing on preserving your technology, but it was about 5 square feet and not interesting. There was a section about canoes presented by canoe.ca and stuff about wireless technology by Nortel. It was too much corporate whoring for me.

Are you interested in the Flaming Lips show?

have you heard The Like? they remind me of Magneta Lane, now that i'm giving their tunes a re-listen (i downloaded some of their stuff after they opened for Tori Amos). you might enjoy.

That is hilarious...
I listened to the Like album a while ago and wasn't really impressed at all. "Under the Paving Stones" I kept on my computer, but the rest I baleted. All the songs sounded the same?...
Sorry Saba :P Mike Mo likes them, I think.

I was in Rotate This, and I thought I heard them saying something about selling tickets secretly, but I wasn't sure...

Reason #1 why you should've gone to CMW: Lexi and French were both at the Paper Bag showcase, and at one point during Uncut, they were shimmying against each other.

Yes, you missed that.

RT are elitist bastards. I'm surprised at Soundscapes, though

I was in the mood for going to that, but already had plans with friends. What can you do?
