The average person uses 123 gallons daily. That's about 16.4 cubic feet of space for anyone who wants to think about it. Anyone know how much money it takes to clean water? Oh, it can be done naturally, just not very fast. So it's a lot, what can we do about it ( Read more... )

Don't buy Nestle products - they're among the worst of the privatizing global water barons (but isn't their website lovely?).

With accelerating climate change, global freshwater shortages are just beginning. Good post, important post.

Last time we were in Monterey they had toilets that had the flush lever go two directions. You pushed it one way for yellow, the other for brown. It used different amounts of water.

So, we're getting there.
