So I didn't walk away with $500 last night, but I did come in third place. I can live with that, considering that first and second place were the very funny and nice guys Jim Tews and Bill Squire. Viva la next time. A million thanks to everyone who came out to sway the vote

Congrats! Third place is excellent for your first competition! I Wish i could have gone, but i had to be up and out of my apartment at 6:45 this morning to do my field work. boooo me.

Third is great, especially considering the 1st and 2nd placers were actually funny.

The first guy gave me a major case of the creeps and that other - bald, glasses? - one another case of the creeps. I think I was wincing and scooting my stool backwards the entire time.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for actually being funny. Thank you for understanding that to be funny you actually have to be clever, and that spouting crass sexual commentary or brain-dead "observations" of life isn't funny OR clever.
