If you love this country as much as I do, then it may upset you to read this.

You can read more about Code Pink and their treasonous antics here.

Once upon a time we executed mutherfuckers like this for this kind of bullshit.

WHERE THE FUCKING HELL IS ALBERTO GONZALEZ AND THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT?!? WHY AREN'T THESE CODE PINK BASTARDS IN JAIL?!?

I don't support the war but I'm not going to steal a sign. Thats utter bull. Some of the soldiers in Iraq have no choice. I have friends and family over there, I'd rather they not be there and be here home safe but I cannot really do anything about that can I?
Protesters in Vietnam did the same damn thing- getting all up in the soldier's faces but HELLO there was a draft going, my uncle sure as hell didn't have a choice.
I'm freakin rambling here.

Sound's like theyre just aching for a riot. Its not like the American soldiers are blowing anything up anymore, theyre just occupying Iraq and if the new Iraqi government had such a problem with it, they'd send the boys home.

My opinion can be summed up in this: if you don't agree with something say so, leave it at that and don't be offensive about it.

But Code Pink has done so much more than merely "talk." They gave $600,000 to the Iraqi resistance: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1431186/posts

Back where I come from, they call that treason. And as I said, once upon a time those who committed treason were executed. But nowadays it seems the current administration has forgotten there is a law against this sort of thing.

I was saying that I was agreeing with you on this issue. Ghandi had it right- PEACEFUL resistance. Thats how we got votes for women- if my memory serves me, they went on hunger strikes, they didn't steal things. Being offensive hurts both sides I think theyre being offensive in this case.

My reasons for disagreeing with the war are deeply personal (my friend Tom came back and he wasn't Tom, he had changed- he was really really different from the guy who left, he never smiles anymore etc...) However it was Tommy's choice to join the army in the first place. Him being in the Army is going to pay for him to go back to school. And will probably garuntee him a good job anywhere he goes.

I don't necessarily think they should be executed- doesn't our constitution allow for free speech, however, theyre taking that blanket definition of protection and taking it a wee bit (ok a lot) too far.

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Seems to me giving $600,000 USD to people fighting against our armed forces to make it financially possible to continue to kill them falls under that category.
