A couple of days ago, my computer died. Well, to say that it died would be a kindness, one which computer woes do not deserve. More accurately, it killed itself.  It may not have meant to; it certainly didn't put on eyeliner and slit its wrists,crying, in the bathroom while the stereo played some sappy, emo filth. That was beautiful and tragic.

The smallest of my three hard drives died last month. Unfortunately, it contained the operating system and all of my music/photos dating back about seven years.

I managed to avoid that terrible fate by saving it all to my external in the final days of Ahtlatl's life, but I can't use it with this laptop because SEXternal's usb out doesn't work, and El Nene Feo doesn't have firewire ports.
