So, here in beautiful downtown Camp Beuhring, and even though we are quite literally in the middle of nowhere, and I'm sharing a tent with about seventy other people, I gotta say, this place is pretty awesome. Ok, four-hour layover, five minutes left here. Keyboards configured differently here, y and z switched around among other things. So far, Germany#s nice. too bad we#re not staying.

So, here at Camp Shelby, waiting to ship out. To explore strange new worlds, etc. Actually, we're going to have a brief familiarization period in Kuwait, then go to Iraq. My phone died this morning. This means that all of the phone numbers I had for my people are now lost. So, we went to the range yesterday. It was supposed to be our organization, qualifying marksmanship--until everybody and their dang mother decided to show up and turn what should have been a simple training evolution into a righteous flustercluck.
