Terry Brooks who one of my fav authors is doing a signing for his latest book very soon.

I'm thinking about locating a first edition of his first book to get signed.
yes I know, I'm a massive book geek.

Edit: scrap that idea, book signing is at lunch on monday. Will use what I've got.

This morning I was freaked out by the number of people CHARGING down on the area where the Heroes cast were to be.

I was tempted to film the 5 minutes of running fans.

Not kidding about the 5 minutes either.

I wish I had this growing up

His statue was unveiled yesterday in Trafalgar Square. I will go have a look at it next tuesday and get photos. Most likely the closest I'll ever get to this great man.

Would have gone to the unveiling but I have to take time off for J's recording tomorrow.

So I've thrown a curve ball at my book club and put forward Maus, which as most educated people know is a Pulitzer Prize winning graphic novel.

I think I might have gone a little overboard by ordering the original printings of both graphic novels.

Went for a tour of the Royal Society of Medicine library. Nice place - pretty big. Although I'm not to sure if I'd want to work there. What I want to know is: why do men rarely ever go to other libraries to look around.
