Well, I went to the doctor today and my ultrasound showed that my thyroid is normal....YAY! My throat/ear is still really hurting even though I finished two courses of antibiotic and am taking round the clock anti-inflamatory medication so the doctor decided to check out my salivary gland. He stuck a little metal thingy into the duct and sure

Glad it was only the salivary gland. So did it hurt to have it flushed?

It was numbed up pretty good during the procedure, but it hurts pretty bad now.
