Ok, so I almost never update this thing, but incase no one here has seen this stuff.
August of last year James (a.k.a. "Brokenkites") and I took a trip to Chernobyl and Pripyat, below are a few images and a video from that trip.

What country are you from? Did you deliberately go to Ukraine in order to visit Chernobyl?

from the u.s.

yeah that was the whole intent of the trip, we did visit a few other countries while we were there though.

It really is a fascinating place, isn't it?

I also visited the Chernobyl area, but it was for two days in June 2006 with a friend and former resident of Pripyat. We toured the Chernobyl Plant (including the Reactor 4 control room), several of the abandoned villages, and Pripyat. I have posted a detailed photo journal of my trip on my new website at:
