Try fly strips.

I recommend against the fly traps - my step dad uses them at the ranch, and oh god the smell... if you thought having flies buzzing around was annoying, it's absolutely nothing compared to the way those things smell after about a week.

Stinky chases them down every now and again and eats them. It's kinda gross. It is, however, amazing to see her nail one out of the air and then shove it in her mouth and eat it. Well, not the eating part.

A good old-fashioned flyswatter is your friend. Or if you're feeling adventurous, you could get one of those retro fly guns. We actually have one from the 70's at the cottage and my dad runs around chasing bugs with it when we first open up for the summer. I must admit the flyswatter is more effective, though less fun.

You might also want to check the seals/weatherstripping around your windows and doors. But yeah, it's that time of year.

It's mostly a function of going in and out onto the patio. No matter how much I try to be fast some flies slip in.

The gun looks rad.

I don't know how it'd work with the cats around. I may check it out.

When I read the title, I thought you and Mike had gone all feral and set a bonfire in the middle of the condo...

I'm kinda disappointed?
