Back at the local uni. Oddly enough, I'm working for the physics department now. The pay is typical for a postdoc, which isn't great - but it's better than nothing and I'll be hitting the conference circuit pretty hard and getting abstracts and journals published. That's a lot more than I can say for what happened as a grad student.
The gig I'm picking up is going to be doing a lot of research in self-assembly in (n)DNA and how it relates to precursors to life, and more importantly self-replication. I'm also being tasked with looking into the use of liquid crystals in solar cells.
