I've never read Chuck Palahniuk's work before, but today I saw a link for "Guts." It's, uh, absolutely disgusting, but pretty damn interesting and well-written ( Read more... )

That Chuck guy is SICK. My library at school has his book Stranger Than Fiction in it. How the HELL could they let something like THAT be in their library? Good God. They need to read before they stock random books on the shelves.

Good luck on the scholarships! <3 :O

I've read a Palahniuk book and Asian Roy gave me another to read. He's interesting. Palahniuk, that is, not Asian Roy. I guess he is, too, but okay. Wark.

i have palahniuk books up the ass if you want to read his work. i HIGHLY recommend invisible monsters. that, or diary. i havent read through diary, but those two are more toned down.

choke is my fav by him, but the main character is a sex addict-so you can imagine the writing in there...

but chuck's consistant with a medical journal overtone. i mean, he went through medical school so he always seems to mention anatomy or disease in a chapter or two.

(by the way-thanks for all the commenting...you sentence envier, you.)
