Forget college. I just spent 3.5 hours sitting down with my parents and discussing pros and cons of my college choices (at this point it's between University of Michigan and Wayne State).
I'm now even more undecided than I was before.

Thing is, I'd feel like I was settling for less than my potential if I went there. But maybe I'm just biased or something. Maybe my views would change once I spent some time there...but it's not as elite as U of M, which means I'd be around less of my type of people (i.e., smart ones), and when I visited the Wayne campus, I didn't feel at home there like I did at U of M.
Up until today, I thought the feel-at-home thing was the most important, since my parents said they'd cover tuition. But new things have come to light.

But you're not actually considering giving up on it! You're obviously tired of talking and thinking and dealing with college, but yknow.. it's the next step.
There'll be an answer eventually(promise!). ^___^; hang in there *sends supportive hugs*
ps. That Mountain Goats song you sent is good. :3 It's almost.. hypnotic XD I should listen to more acoustic stuff, really.

i don't think i can give you selection advice, cuz i'd be quite biased, but all i can say that might be beneficial is go with what you feel is right in your heart. don't sell yourself short, you're a smart guy, don't let too many things hold you back.
