Tonight, I met my parents at Bed, Bath & Beyond after I got a haircut. We shopped very briefly since we both didn't need or buy anything. For dinner, we decided on Outback Steakhouse since we had a gift card

I hate to say it, but your mom sounds really sweet. It sounds like she's just very worried about your welfare. :o)

Yeah, she's an awesome Mom. I just wish there was some book or website (preferable book) I could give her so she can learn more about GLBT life. The language barrier makes it difficult. I can speak Chinese, but can't read. She can speak minor Engrish, but can't really read it.

I'm not sure about books, but I know that the API Wellness Center in here in SF has coming-out resources in many languages.
