I once had a Kirby woman come in and do that shampoo routine on our carpet, and suck the dander out of our mattress, and then after I asked her all sorts of evil personal questions about her job (like didn't it freak her out to come into a man's house by herself?), I didn't buy one, especially because I was flabbergasted (and beyond) when the dude came in and told me that it would cost 1800.00 to get one. I believe I said, "for that price, I think I'll stay dirty."
