I keep getting calls from Sandy at Windham and Associates collection agency, and while she started out very nice, she's just become more and more snide. she knows we work the exact same schedule so if she is at work there is no way she will get me. I try to call her back on my breaks, but some days are rough

I think you should stop acting like a citizen in this case, following all of their tortuous rules, and become the criminal they seem to think you are: don't return their phone calls. Don't send in the paperwork. In this case, I suspect you're being punished because you're *good*, not bad.

You know, there is something that smirks of unconscionability here. The whole setting up something to help you and then "conveniently" - as you said - omitting the return address and envelope. There's simply no way that they could have expected you to return anything to them, and for them to have set it up that way is wrong. I do think that there are some new rules as to debtor intimidation and proper treatment
