I bought a house today

Those of you not in the know (because I haven't updated this in two months, hi!), I have been looking for a house since the beginning of the new year. As of this evening, after a couple weeks of negotiating and frustration, I have laid down earnest money on a house in Hoffman Estates

Bold is a good word for it. The shower curtain will be burned if I see that thing after I move in....

When you cancel out the questionable wall color in the living room (I actually am fond of the blue in the bedroom), it's a neat little place. I'm excited.

Since I was the one who shared on you the lingo of the locals for AAH, I feel the need to come up with something for the new locale.

Although I don't know anyone in Hoffman Estates so I don't know of any established nicknames. Sooo...

It could always be the Hoffman Hizz-ouse
