I didn't read the whole article, but a new book ("Forged") is out that claims 17 of the 27 books of the bible were "forged" and not written by the apostles. As you can imagine, there's been backlash. Specifically Ben Witherington, a New Testament scholar, a guy who believes in and constantly reads the Bible, is not happy about the incendiary claims

But this isn't new thinking either. In fact one of the letters in Romans, if I remember correctly, is from an author saying, "hey, here's how you can tell I didn't write that letter" and both are included in the bible.
You can also find large sections of the canonical gospels that have been edited and more than one writing style in a couple of them.
Not that this matters to anyone but scholars -- since I've never known a Christian to be bothered by the fact that even the Catholic gospels don't agree on much.
