I'll probably watch "Eureka" again, at least one or two times, to see if it improves. The first show didn't reach out and grab me, but neither did the first episode of "Firefly"
I was going to post my own review, having watched it via Tivo last night, but this sums up my feeling fairly well.
I thought it was far too transparent and riddled with clichés, especially the choice of antagonists (the lab director, the army guy, the psychologist... quelle surprise...)
I also missed the tie-up of the loose end about who saw whom while coming into town - was I just spacing out or did it never happen?
I rather liked it; but then, I was in the right mood for goofy.
If nothing else, it's a pleasant novelty to see the Sci-Fi channel actually showing sci-fi, rather than horror movies. The problem is [and I can smell it coming from here], watch me get to like the show, and then watch them cancel it after far too few episodes. That way lieth "Tremors: The Series."

I will, however, watch a couple of more episodes.
