well, i have to battle 90 billion college kids for jobs, and each one is a little bit more qualified than the last, and certainly more qualified than me. i really like this town, but when i can't even get a job at mcdonalds something tells me i should just try somewhere else.

david's certainly been helping me out, but it's putting a strain on our friendship. ej says he can probably get me a job working the door at a venue he works at and set me up in some commune house in lawrence. we'll see what happens.

if you are going to go to kansas, doubtless, lawrence is the place to be. it is the single cool pocket of coolness in kansas city. too bad you aren't leaving now- the haunted houses in kansas city are in giant abandoned factories- its awesome. did colin get a job out there?
