I know an entrepreneur here of Russian background who employs a few dozen programmers in Russia, maybe she could have an idea? Just throwing this out there. :P

I mean, it’s the Russian government bureaucracy - as I’ve mentioned before, not all that many steps removed from the Soviet bureaucracy. So I’ve always expected this to be awkward and difficult and annoying and a major hassle. I mean, if something like this is going to put any kind of kink into my plans, I have much bigger problems coming down the pipe. You don’t plan a multi-month trip to Russia without expecting bureaucratic frustrations. (’Least, not unless you’re hopelessly naïve...)
So yeah. *shrug* I am continuing to plug away. A solution will eventually be found, of some degree of legality.
After all, I’ve lived in the Middle East. I have learned how to have patience with officialdom’s occasionally byzantine workings ( ... )
