I will never watch The Notebook again. Sure I cried like a baby at the end, but I didn't feel good about it. The entire movie they spent freaking out at each other, and I wanted to smack her and tell her to stop bitching at him every five seconds. Then she had alzheimers and she came out of one of her bad spells, and he happened to be there and they happened to die together. Call me a pessimist, but sure that's romantic for them- what about their kids? They gotta bury both of their parents at the same time, including their seemingly healthy father. That's the shit I thought about at the end. My Notebook cry was just upset and sad, and I dont really have any desire to see it again.
Know what I like about you? There are some people who hate on things simply because they are popular. You know, like the people who will like a band but only until the band turns mainstream. Basically being different for the sake of being different. You are not one of those people, and I like that. You like things because they are good, not because they are popular and not because some critic said it was a masterpiece. Just because The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift doesn't have a meaningful script and a deep artsy feel doesn't mean it isn't 2 hours of spectacular entertainment. And just because Britney Spears sings Baby One More Time doesn't mean it isn't one of the greatest songs of all time... (::embarassed face::)
