Might I suggest the obvious: WFMU?

I was all set to stop my Pitchforkster feed, but then stupid Kevin Shields and his stupid MBV reformation happened. I suppose I could just keep googling.

I do read the fmu blog every so often... but... there's so much in it... that... it's almost too much. Like being bombarded with glorious weird.

And every time I read pitchfork... I get sorta irritable. The guy who runs it used to do a show on WLUW... and... it was alrightly diverse... but... also felt real obvious. or maybe I'm just a super asshole. ... mm... maybe both.

What I'd really like is just a "Hey... check this new album out... it's kinda weird and noisey" {mp3 sample}... A song or two. I like Wiel's... but you have to take the whole album. Which... in one way is good for collecting... but not for browsing really.. which is what I'm really looking for. I may just have to start my own. www.thefunkofortythousandyears.com is currently going to waste.

I think you should start up a blog, and have me as a contributor.
