the worst part of these clips, in my opinion, is the APATHY of the observers.

sad.

truly sad.

my heart weeps for the freedom of speech;)

I don't think the majority of the observers were as apathetic as it appeared on camera. The sound on one video is clear enough but the second video's sound was much too quiet in that lecture hall. I recall quite a few people questioning the police's actions. Consumer camera mics are shit.

Second, in today's age, you can't do much of anything when you disagree with what's going on around you. With the police being there, I'm sure most people wanted to but were afraid of the same thing happening to them so you can forget the use of physical force. Also, in this little scene, we've learned that being vocal about a situation will land you in a pile of hot shit with tasers shot at your ass.

This whole thing is fucked up. It should've ended when Kerry stated that he wanted to answer the kid's questions and continue on with the discussion. Nope, some uniformed individuals had to support their big brass balls.

I've read some articles stating that the student was "obnoxious and rude." Perhaps the student was a bit obnoxious and rude but there's nothing that makes that against the law. Plus, with the way authority refuses to listen and the more this country floats down shit creek without a paddle, I'd be damn rude and obnoxious too.

Some people don't like it when you ask questions.
