Did you hear that Bass Wolf passed away yesterday???

A few weeks ago, shortly after Chris and I split, and I was even more of a basket case, Eric, Rox, and I saw Guitar Wolf at the Magic Stick. Man, I am SO bummed that that show was sold out. We were stuck in the Garden Bowl, and bailed - as we didnt want to stick around with a bunch of other people too dumb to get tickets ahead of time. Heh.

I was okay though, I did a roadtrip to Cleveland the eve before to see NEW BOMB TURKS. So I had my dose of rock.

But still, man, this sucks. I am hoping like hell it is an April Fools thing. Ugh.

Nobody believed me when I said it'd be such a big draw! For weeks I'd heard rumblings that it was expected to sell out, and I think we made it in under the wire - we showed up around 9, bought tickets, and then had a leisurely dinner at the Majestic. When we went back upstairs around 10:30, the first band was just finishing and the crowd had tripled in size.

That is really sad.

Your story is awesome Miranda. I wish I had been able to go to that show. If I had a relegion it would be based on Guitar Wolf and Wild Zero.
