It can't be that far from you now, right? You should go... maybe you could take a train? It sounds similar to what she sang the last time I saw her. Not so much of the banshee coloratura freak-out business, just her at a piano mostly doing old blues and jazz covers. Better than it sounds!

I found your Gorey book; e-mail me your new address and I'll send it off as soon as I can drag my sorry, snotty ass to the post office.

Not yet, but it may very well be there - I probably won't check it before Sat. since I've been holed up at home for a couple days. I'll let you know....

Got the package yesterday, thanks! It's all good but the vintage photos, especially those of the Girls Auxilary, are especially sweet. And that clown gives me the hinx.

Are you really travelling to NYC for this show? Hell, I went to London a few times to see Current93, so it *makes sense* to me if you are... And if you are coming to NYC, you gotta go to the Gorey Book store...

Probably not, as I see much weeping and gnashing of teeth if I ditch out on dear ol' Dad. But I've got a couple days to decide... I still regret not dropping the airfare and going to see the Steroid Maximus gig in LA. I don't travel much....
