the idea is simple

Fuck me, I love Memepool.

Especially when it introduces me to things like this:
"The idea is simple: to collect photos of people posing dead in various places from around the world."

Ok, who's got a camera? Let's get this freakshow on the road!

And, seriously, who wants to contribute to a zine of children's book covers?

Just send in your ( Read more... )

Hey, you're around! Thought you might not want to if you're leaving LJ for a while, but yeah, you were the first person to ask for it. I suspect the time frame is going to be pretty lax. Are you in?

hiya! I just came by to update my lj and saw your post. ;)

I've got plenty of free time coming up as my latest lj entry will confirm and would l love to participate! espically if ms quinsters is in.

totally off topic but I thought you might know the answer - I've got a mounted small bat skeleton and I want to seal it's glass case so I can hang it on the wall. Is there any special kind of glue I should be using to do this? hmm... maybe ms quinsters knows??

Can I do that one? Let me know the dimensions. Can they be color?

Yup, color or b&w, line drawings preferred but as long as it'll photocopy well, do what thou wilt.

Hmmm. I can't decide between A Trip in Space or A Walk With Grandpa.

Space, I guess.

remember, call me if someone backs outon the ones I wanted. I will practice my children's book art in the meanwhile.

Oddly enough, I have been thinking that a good friendster picture would be me hanging from a noose. I couldn't decide if I should be long dead, or just freshly dropped, struggling for life.

Ooooh oooh oooh! How are we rigging this? Do you want your whole body to be visible or just, like, waist on up? I think dead will be easier either way. Did Chris tell you our friends who are learning about cob houses and earthships were the ones that did the zombie movie? I'll bet Mike's friend will do your make-up just for fun.

Just for the record - Count the Puppies and what else...?

I WILL NEVER BACK DOWN!

Count the puppies is mine!!

Is there any way we can still make this a release by STOP/EJECT and have all of the artists record some kind of "song" to go with their cover?

I think that would be the best .. or maybe they can team up with someone else and have them write a "song".

I am so excited!

The great thing about the struggling one is, I'd be willing to do it without rigging, I'll basically try to do a pull up on the rope that's around my neck. And what's the point of doing this if you can't see my legs flailing? I would only have makeup if it was me long gone, then I'd want my tongue bulging.

I was thinking about trying Kathy's Happy Day, but I would defer that to someone who thinks they could do a good job drawing a Richard Scary character at the moment of orgasm.

Backyard circus maybe. Has someone taken Walk with Grandpa? Two words: funeral procession.
