I just realized that I haven't posted at all this year! So this is me, making a post. And surprisingly it is not a birth announcement. This is officially the longest I have ever been pregnant, as today is 41 weeks. We expected another early one since both Verity and Raynier were about a week early, but no. Maybe we'll finally have a late riser. Ha.

Good to hear from you. I'd love to know more about your house additions! How many rooms? Just bedrooms or a bathroom as well?

I've been keeping up with all the news on Facebook, but had just assumed that your Livejournal posts weren't visible to me. It never occurred to me that you weren't posting at all!
We can recommend a builder if that helps, but sounds like you've got it under control. Just don't use Jack Property Maintenance / Jack of All Trades (www.jackofalltrades.co.nz) - we found them to be really slack and unprofessional. Mostly a feeling that they didn't care about the quality of the finished work and had no pride in their work. Have since found a good guy who is based in West Auckland. :) We had our kitchen and dining room redone including knocking down the wall between them to make the space larger. So good. Next job - redoing the bathroom, but that will be a while away when we can afford it. And eventually, we want to get the fencing around the property boundaries done. Good luck with your renovations (and of course the new baby!).

Glad to hear from you.

Let us know how the building works out. I am having to have some extensive contractor work done, and I am not looking for ward to the process. But it sounds like you have things better in hand than I do.
