That sounds like an interesting week and sort of traumatic too, why did that guy set himself on fire? Crazy? Performance art?

I hope this week is more tranquil!

I assume it is related to his being a "former" employee of the University. A 61-year-old guy.
Thanks. I hope that it is, too, although you of all people know how it is.

Oh it was. And this week i have also many specific events, plus a presidential election. Hopefully nothing else like that will happen, though.

That guy on fire? What a drama queen.

I hear that the Tagalog movie, "The Crying Women" (or something like that) is actually quite good. I wouldn't know, though, since the only Filipino films I've seen have been supernatural horrors or a family video from Christmas 1987.

Also, hello. I miss you.

Yeah, i saw this one romantic comedy just a week ago for class and before that all i'd seen was this one supernatural thriller. This girl (i would say woman, if) looked at me like i was disturbing because i had to describe it as the only other filipino movie i'd seen. Screw off, lady, just because i try not to watch melodrama i get ostracized? Whatever, unlike everyone else suffering during that exercise my listeners were rapt.

My people will judge you, no matter what. That's how we roll, besides all the assimilation.
