So buying another towel, and consuming more precious resources, is better than her handwashing your current towel? I'm not sure if that makes sense on a resource-level, although perhaps I am undervaluing what she is doing to save resources when not washing your towel. Glad to hear you are alive, by the way.
or throw a big party for all of the AFAPers who live in our neighborhood (75%) plus the families of her friends? i think that was well worth a smelly towel and the P100 i paid for another towel.
you know, my roommate didn't want our host mom washing his underwear either. i don't get it. i haven't pooped in them or anything. it's like socks. the issue with the towel is really my not preparing well enough to make the least amount of work for her. i find it shameful. my roommate tried to convince her to let us wash our clothes, but to no avail.

i have had a homestay mom wash my undergarments, and it was kind of awkward.
