The perils of Idaho driving

As I was driving to work this morning, I hit an animal.  The animal was already dead, but it was still traumatic.  Talk about hitting something while it's already down.  I couldn't tell what kind of animal it was, but obviously it wasn't very smart running into four lanes of traffic.  Still, the indignity of being run over after already meeting

Dude, sorry you hit an animal. I did that once, only the animal was a dog and it was still alive..and I was 8 months pregnant at the time. It was the most traumatic experience of my life. I still get sick to my stomach and teary eyed if I think about it. :( K, love you.

Okay, hitting an animal really bites. And it breaks my heart. A small consolation is that he'd already gone to the Great Beyond.

Those are the same perils of driving in La...I once hit a dog and I was riding w/ a guy who hit a rabbit. A few months ago my SIL and I were riding along and we saw a dead bobcat on the side of the road.

Are you running by yourself or do you have a running group? A running group is so fun. We used to run races and then go for breakfast afterward. :)

We have dead animals on the road all the time. I hate when I don't see until too late or something and can't avoid hitting it again.

Well it could have been worse I am sure, like you could have had to explain it to Cheeks! LOL, that would have been fun, NOT.

Hawaii... that so makes up for the animal thing! And no kids on top of that! WOO HOO!
