"Chicken or vegetarian?"

Why is it, on nearly every single flight I've been on, when they get to me, they only have vegetarian meals left?? Does it surprise them that so many people choose chicken over vegetarian? 'Cause, y'know, it's only happened, oh, I don't know, A MILLION FUCKING TIMES ( Read more... )

Well, the flight's about seven hours, so I think they have to feed you when you pay $1400 for a seat, otherwise you'd faint from low bloodpressure. Some guy did when I flew there.

I'd say something witty, but I think it's too early in the morning for that...

Actually I think most international flights do have meals. But even the longer domestic ones in the US - like, say, New York to LA which is a bit over 5 hours - no longer have any food service at all on them.

Oh, that just blows. Do they at least allow you to bring your own food, or can you conveniently buy a tiny sandwich for only $40?
