Exciting news I wanted to share: I just found out that the UA is granting me a full tuition and fee waiver for the upcoming semester! Yippee!!! Hurrah for no paying for school!!! Huzzah

congrats on the tuition & fee waiver! i'm so happy for you... i definitely know how exciting it is to get that news!
guess what? i'm getting a kitten in st louis! i'm so excited to be getting my own place... i'm nervous about going to school too though. i mean... am i going to be behind my peers? are they going to like me? am i going to able to handle the work? i hope i don't burn out!!!!!!! i haven't done any prep work which is probably worse, but my advisor told me not to worry about it, and to just enjoy my summer so... ok! i will take one day and familiarize myself with the technology that he uses in his research so i'm not a total spaz... hehehe.
learning how to ski is definitely on my to-do list too. st louis has some ski sloaps right outside of town, and i figure i can go out for lessons once or twice during the winter and take a lesson. hopefully i won't hate it as much as i hate ice skating! hahaha once an island girl, always an island girl...
