Yep, those could happen, too. Even sparks from vehicles and grinding objects could start them as well.

Oh yeah, that's high on my list as well. Cigarette butts are litter! Someone once told me that it was illegal to throw cigarette butts out the window in California, because it does exactly what you describe.
