I entered the UF Library Edible Book Contest today. I wanted to do it last year but never found the time. But yesterday I decided to do it. Mike and I just babysat for Chip Birkner, the assistant band director. We've spent time with him and his wife over the past few months and they called us up two days ago to babysit their daughter, Elizabeth, who is just under two years old.
She is absolutely adorable and such a sweetheart.

I've realized that my biggest flaw is my constant need to be in control.
I hate uncertainty and having to trust other people's judgement.
And I'm not sure where it came from or what to do about it.

So Summer and Fall registration is coming up soon. The course listing was posted this week and I'm very, very excited!
There's a really nice selection, and I have an earlier time slot this year so I may actually have a shot at getting the ones I want.

Mike is back and I am happy. I couldn't stop smiling when I picked him up at the airport. I was leaning up agaisnt a pillar outside security and he walked up with his usual swagger in his suit and tie. He's doing better now.
