I was more tired than usual last night and that might have been part of it. I've reached a dead end where the beginning isn't inspiring and I have no idea where to go from where I've stopped. My mind is blank.
I'll try going back through what I've done to see what I can add, but getting what I've written down was like pulling teeth by itself.
I think I'm going to go back and rewrite one scene to the way I orginally had it. That might take me a little while and at least I'll feel somewhat productive, even if my mind is still pretty blank for anything else.
Once in awhile my cat climbs up on my shoulder and peers at the computer screen. Can't tell if she likes whatever I'm working on, but she does seem to think that the story needs more cats. Which isn't a bad idea come to think of it...
