I'm really having trouble convincing either of my two main characters as to the seriousness of their situation if someone discovers that Edward is a man and that he and Nicholas will be killed if they're caught hving sex with each other.

Confusing? Yep. Still though, I can't get either of them to brood about their relationship as both of them prefer
