Currently I'm at work with very little to do. We have no patrons and my coworkers and I don't feel like doing much either. We ended up covertly watching a movie earlier today that I'd brought ( Read more... )

Well, gillington is always good. ^.^ (Helpful, aren't I?) Something with snow might be fun, as well, however you could work that!

Good enough. :) I sent out your Christmas card today, so hopefully it will come in sometime around Christmas.

That one would certainly be interesting to do, given that my James!Muse and Andrew!Muse are currently wrinkling their noses at the thought of such an ill run pirate ship.

And it's really odd how these things happen, but out of the blue at work today, Jocelyn!Muse gave me a line of dialogue that I'll have to fit into her first story if ever I begin a transition to an original story:

(Jocelyn to Elizabeth) "I see you have the same fiancee you had the week before. Congratulations Miss Swann, I imagine that must be quite a record."

You're really good at first time fic...so how about a Gillington Christmas!fic where they hook up for the first time. James plans on spending yet another Christmas alone, but Andrew changes his plans. Or something like that. :)

Hmmm, what else...after our chat earlier about overprotecting daddy!Jamie, I'm kind of in the mood for some overprotective Andrew. How about Andrew taking care of wounded!James, with James going insane from all the coddling?

(My muses suggest you combine those two ideas. Have James wounded, on bedrest and alone around Christmas time, and Andrew gives up his holiday plans to take care of him and keep him company so he won't be so alone. Coddling and declarations of love ensue.)

Of course I'd love to see Jocelyn again, but I can't think of a specific prompt. And going back to Christmas, you could write Thomas and Andrew's first Christmas together.

I've missed chatting with you. Hope all is going well. Seeing this post got me thinking about things I'd like to see written, and then got me writing, too, so thank you!

If you're up for it, wee!Elizabeth interrupting young!James and young!Andrew doing... something together? (Why yes, I did just post somthing along those lines myself. Greedy? Moi?)

Either that or Joscelyn becoming insecure when she realises how mercenary some young women (and/or their mothers) can be when they are flinging themselves at James (to be mistresses) now that the Admiral has heirs aplenty. Or something.

Things are...going I suppose. I'm in the middle of waiting for replies to my postgraduate applications, but at the moment I'm resting in between semesters and trying to write some original stuff. How's it going with you?

I like both those prompts. I'm not sure how well I can channel wee!Elizabeth, but I'll try.

And Jocelyn responded to her prompt with: What do I have to do, fuck James on the ballroom to let everyone know he's mine? That's it, next ball I'm bringing one of my husband's pistols. :)
