Rating: PG

My fic...has gone absolutely nowhere. I spent most of Christmas Eve cleaning and baking. So there's been a change of plan. I'm still going to write Christmas in Virginia (still don't have a title either), but its too long to finish today, so I'm going to try to write a little ficlet to post sometime today, and post the long one sometime before New Year.

This Christmas is really dull. My parents are depressed, I'm depressed because I'm not one of those people that can handle two jobs and school at the same time, and I guess I'm just not feeling Christmassy.
I hope you're having a good one though. Merry Christmas!

And yeah, Canada would have kind of sucked, comparitively, for a British Naval Officer... and I guess we can now say that your 'verse takes place later than 1749? Unless Halifax got built earlier, too (like Singapore did...). If you ever feel like exploring this further, I can give you some very good details - used to live just outside of Halifax. xDD
Erm, yeah. Besides all that - sappy it was, but delightful. ^^ Nice and fluffly is just fine on the holidays!
Oh and... did you know that they still fire off the noon cannon at the Citadel, in Halifax? *shifty eyes* Sorry. I'll shut up now.
