Glad to see this update! Reading this the word "lemming" popped into my head. Hordes of lemming, for some unknown reason, go
in search of the sea. Once there, they plunge into the sea to die.

Jack is like the lemming, the red flags are waving but he can't or doesn't know how to do anything to stop himself from plunging into the sea of heartbreak

Weird/Wired thoughts for 1:30 in the morning :)

So glad you will not abandon the story. I miss so much when it was updated every Wednesday.
I still love it and it's still very well written.
Needless to say that I already want more!
Going Left and Golden Boy will always be on my "hope they will be finished" list.

I think the party sounds like a good thing. But, I do worry that Jack will get hurt and cause a small scene. I hope not but just a feeling. I think it is great how you are grabbing the insecurities of a young relationship without a lot of understanding of what a relationship is about as they explore who they both are. Yes, Jack has accepted who he is but really has he? I don't know yet I think maybe this party will show us some of that. I'm so happy to see an update and happy your other book is being published. Joe

Yeah for the update. This is such a well done story, even if it is angsty to read. You give just enough hints to let us know these two eventually gain some wisdom and hopefully re-find each other, but it sounds like there is more angst ahead.

I fantasize that GLATW Jack & Ennis to meet their counterparts from A Way With Words in some other universe, compare notes and get their shit together sooner rather than late. That story is written solely from Ennis' POV and I'm always wondering what Jack's thinking. I find myself wondering what your Ennis is thinking. Or more accurately, WTF is he thinking! LOL at the dumb kids in both these stories. Ah, youthful angst! Good thing it doesn't last a lifetime for most of us.
