C'mon, Jack, pull yourself together, for how long can you be depressed ?!!... I wish he gets back on his feet and start living his life for real, not just trail behind Ennis !
wonderful up-date, and hooray for more !! ;o)

Well, we are at the point of looking for a future but the future looks dim. I hope that some brightness appears but it looks like they will both have to be growing up a little and maturing some. I fear that Ennis will need to explore others to find himself and Jack may not be able to accept this. We know he has explored being with women and still wants Jack, but to have other men might make him run back to Jack or confirm to him what he feels. Such a mixed up mess but this is how it is when you are in love and young. Joe

That was sad. After all Jack went through - Ennis just seems pretty heartless and/or self centered. Like he used Jack until something better came along, like some girl or Grad School at NYC. Can't wait to see how this story develops. If I was Jack not sure I could ever forgive someone who left me like that, aside from the other rather thoughtless things Ennis did to him. Looking forward to the next chapter and how life for these boys plays out. Interested to see if Ennis makes amends.

I don't think I've commented before but I wanted to let you know that I am here too, reading each new chapter with interrest.

What a treat, a new update so soon after the last one :) Thank you. Everything that happened in this chapter felt so real and raw. As others have said, both Ennis and Jack are so young to be able to handle their situation, and I believe too that at this point Ennis needs to explore his real self, even if it means putting a distance between himself and Jack. The good thing, at least, is that he'll be far away from his parents too, and that might help him grow up into a mature adult more quickly than if he'd stayed in a college closer to them ( ... )
