Well, sadly, this is going pretty much how I imagined. But maybe this is what needs to happen for everyone involved to get their shit together at some point. I think Jack's actions and reactions are believable - he's so in love and has had so much grief and sadness to deal with because of his Mom's death, naturally he's going to cling to what he has (thinks he has) with Ennis. None of us can see clearly when we're right smack in the middle of an emotional storm. Not surprisingly, the less interaction Ennis has with Jack, the easier it is for him to to convince himself that he's not really "that way." Sad to see from every perspective.
I'm glad Jack has Josh - but I hope Josh doesn't get hurt. But he does know about Ennis, so that's a good thing. Thanks for the update! Great job!

If Jack could bring himself to give up on Ennis, it might be a salutary lesson. But a I can't see him doing that--at least not right now. And even if he did, it would probably take quite a while for Ennis to get through his initial reaction of "I'm well out of THAT. Now I can be normal."
